Fractional Laser Skin Treatments

Putting your best face forward is important in all walks of life. However, doing so can be difficult if you are uncomfortable with stubborn skin imperfections. Dr. Fouda Neel offers fractional laser skin resurfacing with Fraxel®, Fractora, and ProFractional™ treatments in Montreal, custom tailored to your specific skin conditions and desired outcome.

How does fractional laser resurfacing work?

Fractional lasers create thousands of tiny, isolated channels in the skin, leaving the surrounding areas intact. This technology is a significant improvement over “full field” resurfacing, which removes the entire surface of treated areas. Working within the channels, the fractional laser energy removes damaged skin and excess pigment while stimulating collagen production. Untreated areas encourage rapid healing.

What conditions can be treated with fractional laser resurfacing?

Fraxel, Fractora, and ProFractional lasers are adjustable and can treat many common skin concerns, including:

  • Rough, dry texture
  • Age spots, freckles, sun spots, and other unwanted pigmentation
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Stretch marks
  • Acne scars and other superficial scars

Dr. Fouda Neel can assess your individual needs and determine if fractional skin resurfacing is right for you.

What areas of the body can be treated?

These treatments are safe for most areas, including the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, legs, and abdomen. It is best to discuss your needs with Dr. Fouda Neel.

How many treatments will I require?

The number of treatments required depends on the condition of your skin, your desired results, and your available downtime. Excellent results can be obtained in just one ProFractional treatment, though the actual number of treatments varies from patient to patient. Fraxel treatments are less aggressive and typically require a series of 4 to 5 treatments. Dr. Fouda Neel will personalize a plan based on your specific needs and may recommend combining your fractional laser treatment with other aesthetic procedures, such as a MicroLaserPeel® or an IPL photofacial to further personalize your treatment.
